Updates
I want to write about a few different topics. Derek Wise just wrote another paper, and gave a talk at the International Loop Quantum Gravity Seminar, about gravity and local observers (can describe observer dependent spacetime, for example). I’ve refined my current research project and made a bit of progress. The event horizon telescope has imaged the base of the jet coming from around the supermassive black hole in the galaxy M87. And there is always more.
But I won’t, not right now. Instead, I’ll get ready to sleep. I have to teach tomorrow, you see. I then have homework, and I should continue doing research while I still have motivation. And travel grant proposals, my seminar to run, some grant money proposals for my seminar and discussion group. Uh … that’s what is on my mind for this week. I’m sure I’m forgetting something, but at least I have submitted my AAS poster abstract. This January: “Dark gas in the translucent cloud MBM 12.” Look out Long Beach, CA.
Stay tuned, these topics will stick in my head for sure. Well, now that I have this as a reminder they will.
